Disco Groove 2 is episode 160 of Mixing Podcast Amsterdam, and it's exactly what the name promises — glitter, groove and zero apologies. Optical Disco and Martial Simon between them account for the majority of the reworks here, recontextualising everything from Bill Withers and Diana Ross to Swedish House Mafia, The Kid Laroi and Ava Max into something that sounds like it belongs on a 1977 dancefloor and a 2025 one simultaneously. Jet Boot Jack's take on Lovely Day and Going Back To My Roots are standouts, and Purple Disco Machine's Groovejet remix near the close is a perfect way to wind things down. Thirty-eight tracks, 120–125 BPM, two and a half hours of pure feel-good.
